- Comments: With this guitar
Josh un-veils his new Scoop Cutaway. It offers very elegant and
beautiful lines, and while it functions like a normal cutaway, also
preserves much of the body mass of a non cutaway. I have always really
liked the Cherry guitars that Josh has made from this very rare and
under-appreciated Wisconsin wood. The colors are spectacular and the
sound it crisp and nicely balanced with bold clear highs. We have topped
this guitar off with the last of some very special Italian Spruce. I
own one of Joshs Cherry guitars myself and find it creates sounds
that my Rosewood and Mahogany guitars dont. Cherry is a wonderful
tonewood that is just starting to be explored in high end acoustics
and is excellent for recording!
