- Comments: The Lakewood M-14
is one of the best balanced fingerstyle guitars I have ever heard. The
bass is focused and the mids and highs are warm with a very crisp, clear
edge. There seems to be no end to the sounds that you can access from
this guitar. It has more headroom than any Cedar top guitar I have ever
heard and seems to Flatpick as well as Fingerpick. The necks feels great.
The slightly wider nut and a slightly longer scale give you the perfect
guitar for open-tuned fingerstyle. This is definitely one of the best
kept secrets in the guitar world and an absolute steal at the price!
