- Comments: This is an amazing
sounding guitar in every respect. The M-18 is very rich and woody with
an immense amount of volume yet extremely very responsive, and excellent
for fingerstyle playing. The sound is just a bit tighter and more focused
than the M-14. The Euro Spruce is superb quality. Ovangkol is a rare
and unusual wood, somewhere in the sound spectrum right between Walnut
and Rosewood. The color is very similar to good Claro with an array
of earthy hues ranging from grey to dark browns. This set also has some
nice figure in it. Another outstanding guitar at a steal of a price
from our friends at Lakewood!
