• Comments: The Lowden S was originally designed for Nick Webb of Acoustic Alchemy fame back in the 1980s. This is Lowden's only short scale guitar. I love the gutsy, compressed mid-range on this model. This guitar has plenty of volume and will compete with much larger guitars while maintaining an immense balance and clarity. This is an excellent Fingerstyle voice, but does well for Flatpicking also. I own one of these it is rapidly becoming my go-to guitar for both live and studio.
