Comments: Here we have Trevor
Kronbauer’s very first Baritone guitar. When asked, by myself, if he
would consider building a Baritone for us, he, as always, jumped to the
challenge. And,what a beautiful instrument this is! This is a slightly
shorter scale than many Baritones [27”] and works well. You can tune
it down 2 steps and it is right at home. As with all Kronbauer’s the
attention to detail is spectacular. I particularly love the figured
neck bindings and beautiful maple accent lines on the fretboard. The
sound is pure magic! There is a mid-range growl that I have not heard
before. While the bottom end tends to be quite mushy on many other Baritones
I have previously played, this one is tight and clear. You can play
it hard or soft and the clarity is always there. If you haven’t played
a Baritone you are really missing an incredible experience. They are
fun, and open up a whole new world of possibilities!
