- Comments: Kam Pei is a species of Cambodian Rosewood. I don't believe I have ever seen anything quite like it. The colors are very beautiful with a very attractive grain pattern. The sound reminds me a lot of good Cocobolo. The Bass notes are Piano-like with a deep, woody edge. The Bear-claw on this one is to die for. This would be a superb concert Fingerstyle instrument!
