- Comments: Marc used some very special woods on this guitar. The Mahogany is the last from a tree cut in late 1950's. The figure is beautiful and it is very light and resonant [just over 4 pounds]. The Cedar is also 50+ years old. This guitar has a voice to die for...rich and silky, with both warmth, and amazing clarity. I particularly love the dynamic range of this instrument. Single notes are full and chords blend with a unique and magical balance. This guitar plays effortlessly and is like an orchestra at your fingertips!
