- Comments: The Furch 9-string is an amazing design. The bridge is a hybrid utilizing both top mount and traditional pins. The bass strings are single with doubled trebles, and an octave on the G string. The result is a BIG, full sound with lots of sparkle. And, with single bass strings it is easy to fingerpick.This guitar has all the advantages of a 12 string but more versatile....how cool is that?
