- Comments: Josh built this guitar
for the Cherry 7 project at the Montreal guitar show in 2010.* Each participating
builder was sent a box of wood to create a guitar. The woods are all
native to Quebec with the exception of the Bloodwood.
The genius of Josh’s artistry
shines in every aspect of this work. There are rare moments when guitars
become something so much greater than just instruments. This is one
of those examples, as this is truly a great work of art in every respect,
as well as a superb instrument. Every detail brings a smile to my face.
It is obvious Josh rose above the parameters of the project to create
something very special.
This guitar is light and responsive,
and the unique combination of woods have created a very pleasant voice.
The Cherry provides a nice crispness with just the right amount of warmth.
There is just a hint of that vintage Gibson 00 sound lurking within.
The most amazing part is the headroom...almost endless.
Opportunities to buy guitars
like this don’t come along every day.
